OFS · BAKERY MES

MES for industrial bakeries

A vertical system coordinating production, quality, materials and people.

One system. The entire factory.

MES turns ERP orders into executable shop-floor activities and returns reliable data on actual progress. OFS is built around bakery processes: dependencies between intermediates, mixing and fermentation times, line availability, lots and process parameters.

A bakery MES must understand the real sequence in which the product is made, rather than simply recording quantities at the end of a shift. OFS turns the ERP plan into executable operations, coordinates materials, recipes, people and equipment, and returns an actual record connected to every order, batch and lot.

01

Why ERP alone is not enough

ERP governs master data, orders, purchasing and administration. Production needs sequences, line availability, recipe versions, mixing and fermentation times, controls and exception management. OFS occupies this operational layer without duplicating the business system.

02

From plan to product

Orders become batches and activities aligned with actual capacity. Operators receive contextual touch instructions; machines, PLCs, HMIs and instruments return status and values. The final data is not a separate declaration but the product history built while it is being made.

03

A modular platform

OFS can start with recipes, manual dosing or traceability and expand to full supervision of multiple departments and plants. The same architecture connects warehouse, ingredient preparation, mixing, lines, quality, packaging, maintenance and analytics.

ERP ↔ OFS ↔ PRODUCTION

Connect what currently works in isolation.

ERP runs the business. OFS provides both MES and production SCADA. On the shop floor, Oripan HMIs operate as decentralised mini-SCADA systems—even one per machine where needed—connecting PLCs and equipment. OFS can also integrate existing SCADA systems.

FAQ · OFS

Frequently asked questions

How is OFS different from ERP?

ERP runs the business; OFS runs and documents bakery production execution.

Can OFS be introduced in phases?

Yes. Modules can be activated by area, line or plant while retaining one common data model.

Does it work with mixed equipment?

Yes. OFS is vendor-neutral and integrates PLCs, machines, sensors and existing systems through agreed interfaces.
