OFS · BAKERY MES

ERP, MES and PLC integration

From business data to factory execution, without duplicate information.

One system. The entire factory.

OFS integrates with ERP through APIs or agreed interfaces and combines MES with production SCADA. On the shop floor, Oripan HMIs work as decentralised mini-SCADA systems—even one per machine where needed—connecting PLCs and equipment. Existing SCADA systems can be integrated into the architecture.

OFS creates a bidirectional connection between business systems and the shop floor. It receives master data, BOMs, orders and recipes, coordinates execution, and returns consumption, progress, status, results and traceability without forcing operators to enter the same information twice.

01

Architecture that matches the plant

OFS includes both MES and production SCADA. Oripan HMIs can operate as decentralised mini-SCADA systems, including one per machine or area where useful. Existing plant SCADA or supervisory systems can be integrated rather than automatically replaced.

02

Clear responsibilities from ERP to PLC

ERP retains business governance. OFS manages operational recipes, batch calculation and sequencing, operator guidance, traceability and actual-data collection. PLCs and controllers execute machine logic. This separation prevents overlap and makes data ownership clear.

03

Information in both directions

Interfaces follow the real process: APIs, structured files, OPC UA, MQTT or machine-vendor protocols. OFS binds every signal to its production context — order, recipe, batch, lot, line and shift — so technical data becomes operational information.

ERP ↔ OFS ↔ PRODUCTION

Connect what currently works in isolation.

ERP runs the business. OFS provides both MES and production SCADA. On the shop floor, Oripan HMIs operate as decentralised mini-SCADA systems—even one per machine where needed—connecting PLCs and equipment. OFS can also integrate existing SCADA systems.

FAQ · OFS

Frequently asked questions

Does OFS replace SCADA?

OFS includes production SCADA, but it can also integrate existing SCADA and work with decentralised HMIs.

How does it communicate with ERP?

Through APIs or agreed interfaces for master data, orders, BOMs, consumption, status and results.

Must every machine come from one supplier?

No. The vendor-neutral architecture is adapted to the interfaces available in the plant.
